Kloten/Stein am Rhein, 24 September 2012.  Dr Heinz Werner Rixen is to take over as head of Phoenix Mecano AG’s Enclosures division from 1 March 2013. Following his induction  period, it is envisaged that 51-year-old Dr Rixen will combine this position with a seat on the Executive Committee of Phoenix Mecano AG.

Dr Rixen, who has a degree in engineering (Dipl. Ing.) from RWTH Aachen University, boasts extensive international experience in the management of industrial companies, most notably in the field of automotive electronics for special-purpose and commercial vehicle manufacturing. He will take over from Dieter B. Schaadt, member of the Executive Committee since 1991, who is due to retire in 2013 at the age of 68.

Dieter B. Schaadt joined Rose Systemtechnik GmbH (D) as a technician in 1976 and was appointed managing director in 1986. He has been head of the Enclosures division since 1991. In his long and successful career at Phoenix Mecano, Dieter B. Schaadt has made a substantial contribution to the development and success of the whole Group.
